Kildeer is a quaint village in Lake County, Illinois. Located four miles north of Palatine and 29 miles northwest of Chicago, Kildeer is considered to be part of the Chicago-Naperville-Joliet metro area. The population remains around 3500 people, consisting mostly of families with children.
